Couplea is a unique mobile application designed to help couples strengthen their relationships through shared digital experiences — including date night planning, relationship milestones, couple games, and private shared journals. MUJTEKNIFY was the engineering partner that took Couplea from concept to a live, published mobile app on the Google Play Store.
Problem Statement
The founder of Couplea had a well-validated concept but no technical team to execute it. Building a real-time, cross-platform mobile application with synchronised couple profiles, private shared spaces, and gamified relationship activities required a mature engineering team with mobile architecture expertise.
Solution Delivered
MUJTEKNIFY built Couplea as a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter for a smooth, native-quality experience on both iOS and Android. The backend was built on PHP/Laravel with a MySQL database, with Firebase Realtime Database handling live synchronization between partner accounts. We designed and implemented the full UI/UX, implemented real-time data sync, push notification systems, and an in-app subscription model.
